This quote means many different things to different people. In our context, the quote encapsulates the impact that mentorship can have on ones career. It recognizes the contribution of other people to our own success. Many experienced professionals can attribute their success to one or a few mentors who have assisted them along the way. Young women in engineering struggle to find other female role models in the industry and this the reason SHEngineers is passionate about mentorship.
MENTORS GET INVOLVED
We are looking to grow our network of experienced female professionals who are looking to make a difference by providing mentorship to female engineering students and graduates.
This will require you to volunteer on average 1 hour per month (or at a frequency that is accommodating to your schedule). Virtual mentorship means that you can participate in the comfort of your own home/office.
